The who’s who of Harrogate and Ripon were invited to our private Yorkshire Life Magazine lunch where they sampled a stunning four-course meal prepared by our talented head chef.
The new editor of Yorkshire Life Magazine, Kathryn Armstrong, welcomed the guests from a variety of businesses, organisations and bloggers. The Mayor and Mayoress of Ripon also came along to support us again, which is their second visit to the Inn this year, after attending our food and drink festival in the summer.
Guests were treated to a delicious starter of cod with bacon jam, celeriac and Chanterelle mushrooms, followed by melt in your mouth venison with salt baked beetroot, black pudding and liquorice. They then enjoyed a different take on a cheese plate, with Leeds Pecorino cheese served with a bite-size apple and walnut taco, finishing with a divine dessert of blackberry and apple pavlova.
Throughout the lunch, people were able to take a look around at our stylish bedrooms and function space, which can be used for any event including weddings, private parties, networking and meetings.
